Gotta love this guy. Of course, I am always dubious that we hear all the details of these kinds of encounters in the popular press. There could be more going on than meets the eye. Maybe he disrobed aggressively. Maybe he frowned while doing so. Maybe he misspelled something. If it is true in detail, I have a couple of questions for TSA authorities.
1) Did you detain this guy on the way to his grandmother’s funeral because he took most of his clothes off or because he had the 4th Amendment scrawled on his chest?
2) Do you detain people who just have the 4th written on their underwear so you can see it when scanned?
3) Do you believe your scanning and groping protocol is consistent with the 4th Amendment?
4) Are you really scared that people peacefully voicing opposition to your protocol is a security threat?
Get used to it, TSA. If we can’t force you to honor the 4th, we may embarrass you into it.
